Dovre`500` wood burning stove The Dovre 500 stove is a masterpiece of casting proficiency and up-to-date technology. Not only does it offer classic stove appeal but it also features a separate ashpan door for easier removal of ash, and a choice of six different versions. The multi-fuel model is available with either a fixed grate or a riddling grate, and has the further option or clear or lattice doors. The woodburner, on the other hand, incorporates a special cleanburn system that is so effective it has been approved by the Department of the Environment for use in smoke controlled zones. Independent laboratory tests show      efficiencies of over 70% on a whole range      of fuels including wood.        All this has been achieved on the Yorkshire      without using catalyst combusters, which are      very expensive to replace and can easily      become damaged if coal or impure wood is      burnt. Cleanburning is also better.
